These Terms of Use govern your use of Writer for Android, provided by Zhao Xin (“we,” “our,” or “us”) under the Parussoft name. By installing or using Writer for Android, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use Writer for Android on devices that you own or control.
You may not copy, redistribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the application except as permitted by applicable law or by us in writing. You may not reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to extract the source code of the application, except to the extent that applicable law does not allow that restriction.
Your Documents and Content
You retain ownership of the documents and other content that you create or open with Writer. Writer is designed to store your documents locally on your device or in a cloud service that you choose. You are responsible for your content, your device, your accounts, and maintaining backups of important documents.
You must have the necessary rights to any content that you create, import, store, or share through Writer. You may not use Writer to create, store, or distribute content that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.
Paid Features and Payments
Writer may offer paid features, subscriptions, or other in-app purchases. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and available features will be shown before you complete a purchase.
Purchases may be processed by Google Play, Creem, or another payment provider made available with the application. The applicable provider’s terms, privacy policy, billing rules, cancellation process, and refund policy may also apply. Subscriptions normally renew according to the provider’s terms until you cancel them through the applicable provider. We do not control the payment provider’s systems or policies.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
use Writer for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
interfere with the operation or security of Writer or its related services;
circumvent purchase, licensing, or access controls; or
use Writer in a way that could damage, overburden, or unreasonably impair the application or another person’s use of it.
Availability and Changes
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of Writer at any time. We may also change these Terms when reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes to the application, payment services, or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of Writer after an update means that you accept the updated Terms.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Writer is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the application will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or Android version.
Writer is not a replacement for your own backups. We are not responsible for loss of documents or other content caused by your device, storage provider, account, synchronization, or failure to maintain a backup, except to the extent that applicable law requires otherwise.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Parussoft and Zhao Xin will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from or related to your use of Writer. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Third-Party Services
Writer may work with third-party services, including Google Play, RevenueCat, Creem, and cloud storage or file-provider services that you choose to use. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, content, security, or practices of third-party services.
Termination
You may stop using Writer at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access to paid features or related services if you materially violate these Terms, if required by law, or if a necessary third-party service is no longer available. Sections that by their nature should continue to apply will remain effective after termination.
